Guinevere is the daughter of King Leodegrance. Guinevere married King Arthur of Camelot. The marriage was either forced, true love, or because Arthur helped her father with a deed so she was given to him as a wife. As a present to the newly weds, Guinevere’s father gave them the round table. Guinevere is always portrayed as beautiful in every story. In every legend or story about her, Guinevere is captured and taken away. In some myths of Queen Guinevere, she isn’t faithful to King Arthur because of a love interest with Sir Lancelot. But in other stories she isn’t in love with Sir Lancelot, she loves him like family because he saved her. A reason Guinevere would love Lancelot like family is that she was almost killed by King Arthur because of her half sister, False Guinevere, who looked exactly like her. So Arthur was tricked into thinking False Guinevere was his wife and sentenced Guinevere to death.
